Avgonima, a village in the municipality of Omiroupoli, in Chios, built
in the 11th century and lying in the central part of the island you can
find "Spitakia", traditional little cottages, apartments and rooms,
which have been meticulously restored in full accordance with the
architecture of the area..
The village is at a 16 kilometer- distance from the city centre a 20
kilometer distance from the airport, while the beaches on the western
coast of Chios (trahili, Elinda, Gyali) are at a distance of 8 to 12
kilometers from the village. Spitakia are located in five parts of the
village. The furniture used belongs to the "Aegean" collection.
